Bullhorn announces record-breaking year

Bullhorn, the global leader in online recruitment software, today reports on its results for 2011. The company’s core applicant tracking system (ATS) and customer relationship management (CRM) platform saw a 40 per cent year-on-year sales increase, while Bullhorn Reach, the social recruiting tool, has been adopted by more than 35,000 recruiters since its February launch, which makes it one of the fastest-growing applications in recruitment software history.

Bullhorn welcomed over 400 new clients to its industry-leading ATS and CRM platform, including Swift Worldwide Resources, Investigo, JAM Recruitmentand NESin EMEA, and Solomon Page, HireStrategyand Compucomin North America. The company’s Asia-Pacific client base expanded over 150 per cent with market leaders Aurec  implementing Bullhorn in 2011.

Bullhorn continued its heavy investment in software innovation last year, resulting in the following new features:

-       A re-invented candidate search that saves time and flattens the learning curve for new recruiters by suggesting the search terms most likely to produce the best candidates

-       A new, touch-enabled Bullhorn Mobile app for recruiters on the go

The Bullhorn Marketplacealso introduced several new third party specialist software developers including Drag&Tag, MyResourcerand InsightSquared, powering a 234 per cent leap in client usage and further establishing adoption of the Bullhorn platform as recruitment industry best practice.

Peter Linas, EMEA MD says: “Bullhorn went from strength to strength in 2011 with the official launch of Bullhorn Reach for recruiters and the further industry adoption of our core recruitment platform by some major UK and European recruitment agencies. Our customers can look forward to benefiting from several core platform upgrades this year, as Bullhorn continues to solidify itself as the recruiter’s software of choice.

“We expect to reach a significant customer milestone in the third quarter of 2012 with some large signings in the pipeline”, Linas continues. “We also anticipate the Bullhorn Reach user base to continue to expand rapidly as more agencies look to properly leverage the power of social media in recruitment.” 

Bullhorn’s 2011 growth resulted in an increase in its EMEA headcount of 200 per cent, with Mike Restivo being promoted to head of EMEA sales, and new signing Chris Hague coming on board as head of Bullhorn Reach EMEA. The recruitment software specialist also secured its status as the first recruitment industry supplier to achieve APSCo RPS Level 1 accreditation.
