Danbro Strikes Gold!

Danbro Strikes Gold!

Danbro have added another accreditation to their growing list. Only a week ago, the specialist contractor accountants scooped ISO9001:2008 and Investors in People Accreditations.

The company first received ISO9001:2008 accreditation in April 2009 and since then it has had to be renewed on a six-monthly basis. Accreditors spent three days at the firm during March, ensuring its quality management systems, compliance procedures and infrastructures were up to scratch.

Danbro had further cause for celebration was after being awarded the Gold Standard by Investors in People. This standard is only given to organisations who can demonstrate excellence in developing and supporting their staff. Danbro needed to meet more than 165 evidence standards, with only 1.5% of UK companies actually attaining the award.

Quality & Development Manager at Danbro, Emma Hollindale said “with 40% of applicants failing to get the standard award, we are thrilled to have attained the Gold Standard.

“Not only did we meet the 165 requirements, we far surpassed it, receiving 194. Because of this, Investors in People have asked us to Champion the scheme across Lancashire – the only private company in Lancashire to achieve this”.

This latest piece of good news caps off a strong start to 2012. With the Blackpool-based accountancy nominated for Financial Business of the Year and the Commitment to Skills awards, at the Lancashire Business View Red Rose Awards 2012.
