Today IT Talent Solutions Limited launches a new candidate based initiative intended to provide support and guidance to worthy individuals struggling to find employment. The scheme is in recognition of the plight of hard-working, qualified candidates motivated to work but struggling to find roles in the current climate.

Each month a candidate will be selected for the programme by Managing Director Mr Kevin Howes who will then dedicate his time to coaching the chosen individual through the recruitment process with the ultimate aim of finding full time employment within that month.

In order to qualify for the scheme, candidates must submit their CV and a covering letter to “candidates in the spotlight” in the subject heading before 12pm midday on the 20th of each month. The covering letter must detail the length of unemployment and any job seeking efforts during the term of unemployment including details of any unsuccessful applications. The following month’s candidate will then be selected from that months applications and announced on the 1st of each month. The programme is free but candidates must be within travelling distance to either of our two offices.

Experienced recruiter and Managing Director Kevin Howes said  “An ability to understand the marketplace and the primary motivations of our clients places me in prime position to help job seekers. In a significant number of cases unemployment is not for lack of trying but inexperience with the process considering their profession. Our candidates are not recruiters, they are specialist IT professionals.”

The programme will include a preliminary face to face meeting in which primary motivations will be established and an action plan developed. This will be followed by a minimum of four 1 hour sessions including a CV and social media profile workshop as well as a mock interview. After in-depth qualification Mr Howes will then actively seek appropriate employment on their behalf and offer advice and guidance with their own personal endeavours.

Whilst IT Talent cannot guarantee employment will be found within that month it is hoped that the time accorded to each individual and the expertise offered regarding their CV and interviewing skills will stand them in good stead for future employment.

Mr Howes expressed his excitement saying “I am very pleased to be in a position to help others through my business practices. I consider myself well positioned to help those in need and feel it is the duty of successful business to extend the good fortune we have received to others. In a climate of cuts, I want to prove we are not merely money motivated individuals but are committed to our community as a whole and hope to bring optimism to those in need through our knowledge, time, and dedication.”
