LEGAL RECRUITER MIRRORS CLIENTS’ GLOBAL EXPANSION
Fox Rodney, the market leading boutique legal executive search firm today announced that it has opened an office in Paris to service the increasingly international needs of its client base. The move follows the opening of dedicated offices in New York and Washington DC, an expansion into Asia with an association with Asia Search Partners, and an already established Middle Eastern offering.
Commenting on these developments, Stephen Rodney, co-founder, says: “Nearly 25% of our assignments now have an international component. That, combined with active legal recruitment markets in Asia and the US and a more active Middle East market with new office openings, made it a strategic imperative for us to globalise – essentially we are mirroring our clients’ Global expansion”. Fox Rodney is now in a unique position as the only boutique retained search firm in the legal sector with offices or active associations in the US, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
More worrying still for other established US recruiters is that Fox Rodney has been able successfully to export its retained search model from the UK to the US. The firm’s approach is to focus working on one client in what is proving to be a powerfully persuasive collaborative model. “We effectively act as an ambassador for the law firm as we can give them sustained attention and consulting advice,” says Michael Ellenhorn, Managing Director of Fox Rodney’s US offering. In the US, Mr Ellenhorn, who was previously a Director with Fox Rodney in London, opened Fox Rodney’s NY office in 2010 and this has now been complemented by a Washington DC office run by Karen Clifford, formerly Director of Lateral Recruitment at Wilmer Hale.
Fox Rodney has recruited experienced recruiters Farzana Beeharry and Hanna Ehrlich, as Associate Directors to open its Paris office today, 5th March 2012. In Asia, FRS has formed an association with Asia Search Partners, run by Molly Bersani and Melissa Pereira, which has a similarly strong reputation in Asia for retained legal search as Fox Rodney does in Europe, the US and Middle East, acting for white shoe US and leading international law firms.
