PENNA MAKES SUNDAY TIMES TOP 100 LIST FOR THE FOURTH TIME.

This year marks the fourth time that Penna has entered and been placed in the top 50 of the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For. Once again, it is the highest scoring global HR services group.

The company directly employs 325 people in offices throughout the UK and Europe. As a business that prides itself on improving the performance of other organisations through their workforce, this placing is testament to the way the company lives it’s behaviours.

Chief Executive, Gary Browning, said “We are delighted to have a place on the ST 100 Best Companies to Work For list for a fourth time. Helping our clients create great companies to work for is what we do for a living, so to be included ourselves is very important to us, as it demonstrates that we do truly practice what we preach.”

Penna achieved some impressive results in key areas including sixth for bosses sharing important information with workers. The staff also gave the company a pat on the back for not using intimidation to get what they want, coming in sixth again.

Other scores of note include 78% saying their managers regularly express their appreciation when staff do a good job. And team-mates going out of their way to help each other scored 80%.

The survey also uncovered high engagement levels, with staff not only believing they can make a valued contribution to success - 83%, a top 20 result, but also that they can make a difference to the organisation - 73%.

“In a world where there are few differentiating features in business, your people become everything and creating an environment where you can attract and retain the best people defines the best companies.” Browning added.

The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For is the biggest UK staff engagement survey and takes into consideration the applications of 1,000 companies. Penna is proud to gain a placing on the list for the fourth time.
