Specialist global ICT recruiter Penta Consulting has initiated the biggest restructure in its 14 year history that will see the company focus purely on the global mobile computing and connectivity sector.
Jamie Sobrany, who has been with Penta for ten years and been instrumental in building the company into a leading global brand, has been appointed Managing Director with overall control of day to day business. Penta’s founder and current MD Paul Clark, who becomes Chief Executive Officer to focus on strategic direction, said:
“Over the past decade Jamie has made an outstanding contribution to Penta’s success and I am delighted that we have such a talented and committed individual at the helm. He is known as a big hitter in the industry and has the reputation to match. He is a natural leader with great potential and his promotion is well deserved. I am confident that he will deliver against our ambitious global growth targets.”
Commenting, Sobrany said “With 14 years’ experience in global telecommunications and operations in over 85 countries Penta is perfectly positioned to further increase its leadership position in the mobile computing and connectivity market and deliver capability across new technologies in both mature and emerging markets around the world. There is no doubt that we are in the midst of a mobile revolution and I am confident that we will maximise our opportunities over the next year and beyond.”
