Jobshop UK Set for Exciting Expansion

Specialist recruitment agency, Jobshop UK, are celebrating their continued success, by expanding to bigger and brighter offices in Bournemouth.

After experiencing a further sixteen percent increase in Company profit during the past year, along with a rise in permanent positions which overtook temporary and contract roles during the latter half of 2011, Directors, Tracey Wood and Frances Miles, feel confident that the time is now right to put their plans into action.

Speaking of the plans, Tracey Wood, said: “Like most businesses, we had put expansion plans on hold for the past three years while we concentrated on keeping a tight control of our overheads in order to ride recession storm out.  During the recession, people tended to stay put in their jobs and were wary of looking elsewhere, as the employment market was so unsteady with big name corporations going to the wall and other companies downsizing in order to keep afloat.  People held on in their jobs fearing the unknown. However, now there has been a notable boast in confidence coming from a number of sources, particularly since February this year, with an impressive rise in the number of extremely high calibre candidates coming to us looking for permanent positions.  This upturn in talented and experienced professionals looking to move forward with their careers and an increase in demand from our clients looking to recruit new permanent staff shows a huge boast in confidence in the market, and has been yet another sign that the time is right for Jobshop UK to expand.”

The new larger premises in Bournemouth town centre will provide the room needed for Jobshop to increase their team of consultants, as well as add specialist divisions, which will all go to providing an even more quality and all round bespoke service for Jobshop’s clients and candidates.

“We have so many exciting plans that we are finally in a position to implement,” continued Tracey.

“The new Bournemouth offices will be open by the end of April and we will celebrating by having a special guest, Nigel Hedges, the President of the Bournemouth Chamber of Trade and Commerce, to open them for us at our official launch party on 3rd May.
