LEEDS RECRUITER PLANS BOSTON TEA PARTY

Resource Management International (RMI) the Leeds-based international recruiter is celebrating the opening of its new office in Boston, Massachusetts.

The company specialises in IT, Sales & Marketing and international recruitment. It has a diverse range of clients from start-ups, SMEs through to FTSE 100 companies. Its Leeds office employs 25 people.

Commenting on its move Stateside, RMI's Managing Director, Nick Phipps said: “We're already doing a lot of work in the States. We felt that the American jobs' market is showing definite signs of recovery and this was the perfect time to establish a physical presence there.”

RMI's Boston office is a landmark building with great views across the harbour, the scene of the original Boston Tea Party. “It's also got a great address for our business: Number One, International Place,” says Nick. “The local economy has a lot of IT start-ups. It's also close to Harvard, and MIT Universities, which is good for both candidates and clients.”

Recruitment consultant Matthew Wilkinson will be moving to Boston to work in RMI's Boston office. Matthew is looking forward to the new challenge, and will be looking to grow the office over there.

“Over the past three years we've doubled both staff and turnover on a year-on-year basis,” Nick Phipps adds. “Our success to date is has been built on strong and trusted relationships. Our clients recognise that we operate in a different and better way one that delivers results. Boston was, of course, the starting point for the American Revolution. We're planning to create our own recruitment revolution. If we achieve our aims we might be celebrating with something a little stronger than tea!”
