Mobile, Media and Recruitment - an evening hosted by Timothy James Consulting

Bristolbased Senior Appointments agency, Timothy James Consulting, will be hosting a media social networking event in London’s Mayfair Thursday 10th May. The event will highlight the firm’s rapidly expanding media division and create excitement around media as an emerging market. The evening will look to explore the link between the new, ever-developing digital technologies and how this relates to recruitment as an industry.

This link will be adeptly explored through two prominent key note speakers, Jonny Kaldor and James Caan. Jonny Kaldor will be approaching the event from a media perspective. This influential MD of PugPig will be discussing & lsquo; From Pages to Pads’:

“With the arrival and massive adoption of tablet devices, content owners have a whole new way to disseminate content to employees and customers alike in a way that is faster, broader, more engaging and more actionable than ever before. Business models for traditional publishers are being revolutionised, and tablets are now offering a truly viable alternative to print. And it doesn't stop there - anyone with content can reap real benefits from publishing on tablet devices. But organisations can only ride this wave if they can get hold of the right people...”

This extremely topical discussion centring around the increased ease and accessibility to transactions and information through enhanced mobile technologies  is designed to create live debate amongst the audience.

Taking the recruitment stance is James Caan. James Caan, CEO of Hamilton Bradshaw, has a wealth of recruitment experience and his current portfolio boasts over 20 different recruitment agencies. James will be examining the effect that these emerging digital technologies have on recruitment agencies, particularly looking at how this impacts on positions in the senior appointments space. He will be addressing the question of how companies keep current with the emerging trends, particularly exploring the use of social media and how specific networking tools can work in the recruiter’s favour.

The event will take the form of a live Q&A forum with the audience being encouraged to Tweet their questions live throughout the speeches. Timothy James Consulting’s CEO Chris O’ Connell will chair the event:

“I am extremely passionate and enthusiastic about our booming media division – it is an extremely relevant market for us in terms of developing technologies. The advent of iCloud and mobile capabilities make this topic a particularly exciting one for debate. Most importantly, Timothy James Consulting are always looking to  improve our offering to clients and, by illustrating our involvement in topical media debates, we are able to highlight our fluidity to develop alongside such a rapidly evolving industry, meeting the demands of our customers.”
