Omni RMS Exports Social Media Training to US Market

The UK’s leading recruitment outsourcer Omni RMS has taken its expert social media training overseas, hosting its first international session on advanced social recruiting techniques for experienced recruiters in New York.

Senior consultant and head of the brand’s training division Stuart Jones presented the bespoke training to 25 experienced US international recruiters from sectors including FMCG, financial services, retail and transport.

The sell-out seminar covered the three main social networks LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter, and considered how the forums can be used by recruiters keen to stay ahead of the game.

Stuart Jones said: “We’re delighted with the success of the New York course and the overwhelming response and support from all the delegates. It’s great to see our expertise in social recruiting methods is as relevant and useful in the US as it is in the UK.

“The success of this course represents a new chapter in the development and growth of Omni’s training division and I look forward to being back in the States very soon,” he continued.

Companies such as Sun Products Corporation, Reed Exhibitions and NY Waterway were all represented by delegates at the seminar run by Omni, which specialises in training internal and corporate recruiters.
