ReThink Recruitment launches new smart phone enabled website

• Trends for employees to use smartphones to browse job vacancies

ReThink Recruitment has launched their innovative and user friendly smart-phone enabled website.

The new website will allow smart phone users to browse and access most of the features of ReThink’s site from their smart phone and tablets, including uploading and editing CV’s and applying for jobs.

Michael Bennett, Director at ReThink says: “We have invested heavily in our new site in direct response to candidate demand for more flexible and mobile access to our job vacancies.”

“This new service will make job hunting on-the-go much easier, which is increasingly how candidates are choosing to look for work. We are certainly expecting this trend to continue, and are confident that the functionality of our site is streets ahead of our competitors. Those looking to switch employers will be able to access new jobs more quickly than ever.”

According to a new survey by social media news site Mashable, 77% of job seekers prefer to search for jobs using their smart phones. Of these, 36% prefer to do so because it allows them to keep abreast of the latest vacancies, while 26% prefer mobile job seeking because it is more discreet.

Michael Bennett comments: “Job hunting with a smart phone means that candidates can stay ahead of the game by applying for the best positions as soon as they are listed, which is crucial in today’s competitive job market.”

“It also means that candidates can look for jobs during the day without the risk of offending managers or colleagues. The portability and discreetness of smart phones make them a perfect tool for job seeking during a lunch break or when people are heading to or from work.”

ReThink’s smart phone friendly website can be accessed by logging on at the usual address where new technology will detect if a candidate is using a smart phone, making the process even easier.
