Staffgroup launches Eurostaff Group GmbH to support growth in Germany

Specialist finance recruitment team based in D&uumlsseldorf will build on Eurostaff Group’s success and strengthen existing long-term relationships

Staffgroup, the parent company of Eurostaff Group and  Earthstaff, and provider of specialist recruitment solutions to the Technology, Finance and Energy industries internationally, is delighted to announce the launch of its new office in D&uumlsseldorf, Germany.  In addition, the incorporation of Eurostaff Group GmbH sees the new company become the third of Staffgroup’s stable. The new business unit will focus on sourcing candidates in accounting, controlling and audit across industry and finance at mid-to-senior level and builds on the success of the London based operations of Eurostaff Finance as an established supplier of specialist recruitment solutions in Germany.

Eurostaff created its first native German team focussing on Finance in 2007. Within a year, the business had grown substantially, developing into the Bayern, Hessen and Nordrhein Westfalen regions. Today, the team’s specialist consultants serve clients including multinational corporations, banks and firms operating in sectors such as automotive and heavy industry. It has driven an increase of more than 400 per cent in turnover since its inception and accounted for 20 per cent of gross profit of the permanent placements made over the nine month period ending 31 December 2011.

“The launch of Eurostaff Group GmbH in D&uumlsseldorf enables us to build on what is an extremely buoyant market and represents the first stage in our exciting plans for growth both within Germany and internationally,” said Mark Znowski, Founder and Managing Director, Staffgroup. “We are bringing a unique approach to recruitment with a highly skilled and multilingual team of consultants who possess market and local knowledge that is second-to-none. Companies in Germany are beginning to recognise the benefits of adopting a more strategic approach to recruitment, and being on the ground in Germany was the next logical and strategic step for us.”

The new D&uumlsseldorf office will be headed up by Angela H&uumllser, who has been with the company for over four years, starting as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant through to her new position as a Regional Manager - and she can’t wait to get started:

“The launch of our new office comes at an exciting time for Staffgroup and myself - it will enable us to forge even stronger relationships with our existing clients and candidates as we continue to deliver bespoke recruitment strategies as well as providing great opportunities for talented professionals looking to make their mark in recruitment.  The launch has been a long time coming, but the effort and preparation from the whole team means we can really hit the ground running.”

Staffgroup’s sustained growth and long-term ambition to become a true market leader in its key sectors saw the company rebrand recently to comprise three distinct business units: Eurostaff Finance, Eurostaff Technology and Earthstaff (which specialises in oil & gas, minerals and wind power.) The company is currently migrating to a cloud computing platform and is deploying a state-of-the-art video conferencing facility to better support its international business. It also continues to invest in its staff, growing careers and giving clear opportunities for succession and professional and personal development. This approach saw the company named 5th in the prestigious list of Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For.
