Timothy James Consulting confirmed as 7th Best Small Workplace in the UK

Last night, Senior Appointments specialists Timothy James Consulting were named as the 7th Best Small Workplace by Great Place to Work for 2012. This is the firm’s 2nd consecutive appearance in the listings for employee engagement and is testament to the fact that Timothy James Consulting offers an exemplary workplace.

The Great Place to Work awards are based on individual survey responses given out to every employee in the organisation. Great Place to Work precisely measures the behaviours and the environment that forms the underpinning of world’s most desirable workplaces and successful businesses through 58 specific metrics embedded in their Trust Employee Survey. The metrics of these surveys then form action points which an organisation can deploy throughout their workplace.

Timothy James Consulting scored particularly highly in the Camaraderie, Fairness, Pride and Credibility categories with scores ranging between 97% – 99%. These results illustrate that colleagues feel their working environment is one where they are listened to, they have trust in their managers’ abilities and the culture is one that encourages fun and colleague interaction, whilst also supporting and developing colleagues to be the best they can be. 100% of all employees surveyed at Timothy James Consulting said that the company is a great place to work this is compared to an average of 91% of employees across other companies.

The awards took a different format this year due to the high calibre of entries the list was broken down further, ranking the top 25 companies in each category only. This makes it even more significant that Timothy James Consulting made the rankings for a second year in a row under tougher entry criteria.

This is the 7th award the Bristol grown firm have won for employee engagement throughout 2011/ 2012 and, coupled with the numerous awards for exponential growth awarded in the same period, emphasises that this company have something special to offer its employees.
