Bullhorn Goes North
Online recruitment software provider opens new Manchester office as latest new customer, NES Global Talent, goes & lsquo;live’
Bullhorn has announced the opening of a new UK office in Manchester to take advantage of the potential in the region.
The online recruitment software specialist already has several large clients in northern England, including Manchester recruitment specialists JAM, and award winning business and technology recruitment consultancy ReThink Recruitment, which has offices across the region. Bullhorn’s regional manager Chris Hague will be running the new office and will report directly to EMEA MD Peter Linas.
Cheshire-based Linas notes that the potential in the region has always been there, and now’s the time for Bullhorn to expand its UK presence in order to fully take advantage of the business.
“There is a huge vibrant recruitment community to the north of London that we haven’t ignored since our UK inception but haven’t dedicated significant resource to either. The capital was a good place for us to launch and cement our position as the number one SaaS provider in the UK, but it’s time to spread our wings”, Linas remarks.
The news coincides with oil and gas specialist NES Global Talent going & lsquo;live’ with Bullhorn as the company moves over 250 recruiters worldwide to Bullhorn’s applicant tracking system (ATS) and customer relationship management (CRM) platform. Group solutions director, Mike Chapman, comments: “Moving to a multi-tenant online recruitment software solution was an organic step in the company’s development. We’re a global company and needed a system that could service all of our regional offices while reducing the need for costly and complex back office IT infrastructure. A true cloud solution caters for our needs and it quickly became apparent that Bullhorn was the leader in that field.”
Linas concludes: “NES Global Talent is another good example of an international business ready to fully exploit the benefits of the cloud. It really is as simple as ensuring you have an internet connection and a computer. Bigger businesses like NES Global Talent benefit from the scalability of the solution. Additional users can literally be turned on which reduces the time taken to onboard new staff, and extra required functionality like time sheeting or job posting can be purchased from the Bullhorn Marketplace and easily added to the platform.”
The news of the Manchester office and the growth of NES Global Talent business comes off the back of a strong 12 months for Bullhorn as the company solidified its position as the UK’s number one ATS and CRM platform. Bullhorn recently announced a 40 per cent year-on-year sales increase, while Bullhorn Reach, the social recruiting tool, has been adopted by more than 35,000 recruiters since its February launch, which makes it one of the fastest-growing applications in recruitment software history.
