Legitas launches Health-E to service  the expanding healthcare temporary workforce

The Legitas Group (“Legitas”), the professional services provider to temporary employees, is delighted to announce the launch of Health-E, a subsidiary company specialising in providing employment solutions to healthcare workers, effective from today.

The launch of Health-E reflects Legitas’ ongoing strategy to expand into new market sectors across the UK as the Group continues its growth.

Health-E provides a full package of employee benefits and protection to temporary healthcare workers by becoming their employer during and between their assignments. The Company undertakes the time-consuming paperwork normally carried out by temporary staff, and ensures maximization of income whilst still complying with HMRC regulations.

The launch of Health-E is aimed to address increasing demand for services from a rapidly expanding temporary workforce within the healthcare sector. Given the ageing population and the subsequent increase in demand for more intensive and diverse healthcare services, temporary staff are now providing a large pool of personnel in the sector in a variety of healthcare settings.

Health-E is led by an experienced management team of legal and tax advisers and qualified health and social care professionals who fully understand the issues and concerns of temporary employees working in this heavily regulated sector.

Commenting on the launch, David Allen, CEO of Legitas, said:

“We are excited to be targeting a new sector with the launch of Health-E. The Company aims to provide robust, compliant and efficient employment services to temporary healthcare workers. We believe there is scope to replicate this model further in other sectors.”

Emma Allen, Quality and Operational Manager of Health-E, added:

“In launching this service, we have retained a team of experts who will ensure that our temporary workforce is managed to the high standards required by this sector of the employment industry. We will utilize the experience gained by the Group within the employment industry to provide our workers with the optimum return for their labours.

“Our services will greatly reduce the volume of paperwork required by temporary workers so that they can focus on their assignments helping the overall efficiency of the sector’s workforce as a whole.”

Health-E belongs to the Legitas group which provides professional services to over 20,000 temporary employees across a number of sectors.
