The ARC Cancels de Poel’s Membership
The Association of Recruitment Consultancies (ARC) Executive team has considered the development of the recent Tempo Agency Club proposition by de Poel.
As a result of the new operational plans at de Poel and its change of status, the ARC has concluded that de Poel’s membership of the ARC is no longer appropriate.
ARC Chairman, Adrian Marlowe, confirms & lsquo; We have informed de Poel that its membership has been cancelled with immediate effect.’
The Tempo Agency Club has also attracted the attention of the The Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) who wrote to de Poel Ltd today to relay the concerns of REC members about their new Tempo Agency Club.
Chief Executive of the REC Kevin Green says:
“We’ve heard from a lot of our members who have concerns about information they have received from de Poel about charges and restrictions relating to their new Tempo Agency Club. I hope by contacting their CEO directly I can get some clarity on their proposition and get answers for our members.”
Recruitment International has asked de Poel, CEO, Matthew Sanders for his comments and will relay these as soon as they are received.
The following statement from de Poel Managing Director, Joe Tully was received by RI on Friday 29th June, he said, "de Poel has always had a good relationship with ARC and we have discussed with them our plans for Tempo. ARC have informed us that they believe that our plan to operate a trade association is not compatible with our continued membership, and we accept and understand that decision".
