Balance Recruitment Expands Into Procurement

Balance Recruitment is delighted to welcome Craig Williams to the team to establish its Procurement & Supply Chain division, complementing their existing finance business in London and the South East.

Tony Vickers, Director of Balance and Principal Consultant of the Commerce and Industry Division, said, “This is an exciting time for Balance Recruitment to grow the established relationships we enjoy with our clients. In these challenging economic times, when organisations are focussed on their expenditure and savings, there is high demand for top calibre professionals within the procurement industry. Craig is an experienced recruiter who shares our values and during his career has demonstrated first-class candidate attraction skills. He has an excellent network of contacts and candidates and has already started to make placements with our clients.”

Craig Williams comments, “The difficult market situation and high demand for Procurement professionals requires an in-depth understanding of the client’s needs as well as finding a good shortlist of candidates. Procurement is an industry where there is constant shift in category management, growing the need for subject matter experts. The fast paced and challenging environment of a procurement department means that a number of good candidates in the market are dormant, and not actively looking. My focus will be to create an appropriate network to understand where and when to find the right match for my clients.”

As the UK economy slowly recovers from the recession, the Directors recognise the importance on differentiating themselves from the competition by being true specialists within the industries in which they operate. They look forward to offering their clients a unique combination of first hand industry knowledge together with extensive recruitment experience and a well established reputation.
