Change Recruitment increases international team by 25%

The UK’s leading international recruiter, Change Recruitment Group has increased its international team of consultants by 25% in 2012, due to an increase in overseas opportunities.

There are now 59 consultants based out of the firms Glasgow and Edinburgh offices, compared to 47 at the start of the year.

Change Recruitment put in place a unique business model in 2003 to drive forward international growth, when there was only one consultant dealing with overseas markets.

The innovative business model enables Change to work solely from Scotland, sourcing jobs internationally without having the overheads of offices around the globe.

Laura Drysdale, Change Recruitment’s international managing director said: “The international division is the fastest growing area of the business and accounts for around 49 per cent of the company’s net income. We recruit candidates for roles in accountancy and finance, financial services, human resources, legal and oil and gas sectors.

“We expect to grow our headcount by a further 10 per cent this year as we continue to expand our client base in Africa, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.”
