Concept Resourcing Raises Over £1000 For Cancer Research UK
Concept Resourcing, an independent recruitment consultancy based in Dudley have rounded up their & lsquo;Summer of Giving’ fundraising campaign in aid of Cancer Research UK by holding a Charity Quiz night at the Village Hotel in Dudley.
The quiz night also incorporating a raffle and auction raised an impressive £750.00, bringing their fundraising total to £1250.00.
Sarah Gnosill, Accounts Manager at Concept Resourcing who organised the event said “I am thrilled at how much we have raised for such an amazing cause, and cannot thank the Village Hotel enough for donating their facilities free of charge, the 12 teams who participated, as well as the numerous local businesses who so generously prizes for us to raffle and auction on the evening.”
The winning team, Brain’s Faggots won £100 in high street shopping vouchers and £125 in activity vouchers, which they kindly auctioned to raise further funds for the charity. A signed Wolverhampton Wanderers shirt and photograph of Karl Henry, generously donated by the team were also auctioned.
The Concept team began fundraising in April, and have held a series of events as part of the & lsquo;Summer of Giving’ campaign to raise money including a charity bake off, casual days, a golf event, a chilli kitchen and one male member of staff was even spray tanned in front of his colleagues for the cause.
