Jam and EEF Stick Together With Long Term Partnership

Specialist engineering and manufacturing recruitment company JAM has developed a national partnership with the manufacturer’s organisation, EEF.

As skills partner, JAM Recruitment will enhance EEF’s policy and delivery services to help manufacturers attract, develop and retain the best talent for their business.

John Morris, CEO of JAM Recruitment, said: “We’ve enjoyed a productive long-term relationship with EEF and this partnership is a natural step in taking the relationship to the next level. The skills shortage remains the compelling issue facing the UK manufacturing sector and by combining our expertise, we will continue to help UK businesses make sound recruitment decisions for the future.

“Despite the challenging climate we’re continuing to perform well and working with an organisation as crucial to the UK manufacturing sector as EEF will help to cement our place as the recruiter of choice for businesses with specialist skills needs.”

Kathy Riley, Head of National Partnerships at EEF, said: “Identifying and securing people with the right skills is a key challenge to growth for many UK manufacturers. We’re looking forward to working in partnership with JAM to deliver further benefits for UK businesses at this crucial time.”

With offices in Manchester and central London, JAM provides specialist skills to the Professional Services, Electronics & Software, Food & Drink, Scientific & Medical, Energy, Defence and Transportation sectors with a portfolio including contract, permanent and recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) services. Since 2000 the business has placed over 8,000 specialist professionals into employment.

EEF provides support to its member companies and the wider manufacturing community across six regions and 18 offices in the UK and Brussels.
