McGinley Human Resources moves IT to the Cloud to meet market demands

McGinley Human Resources has decided to move their entire IT infrastructure to a cloud based platform.

The hosted platform, being delivered by cloud services provider, Esteem Systems, will provide flexibility to cope with the fluctuant recruitment sector and will increase performance whilst reducing overhead costs.

IT Manager at McGinley HR, Carrie Sheen, said, “Esteem has provided us with an innovative way of managing the fluid nature of the recruitment market with a solution that grows and adapts alongside our business.”

The cloud platform will allow McGinley HR to spread their operating costs, paying a monthly fee on a pay as you go basis which covers their infrastructure, software licences, management and support. The platform adapts to their changing number of users, allowing the company to grow and expand. User licences can also be provisioned for temporary staff members through the cloud specific Microsoft Service Provider Licensing Agreement (SPLA).

Carrie said: “The cloud model allows us to receive a first class IT system, without the initial capital investment.”

McGinley HR previously outsourced the management of their in-house datacentre to Esteem. The decision to move to the cloud was the obvious next step to cope with their dynamic requirements and support their expanding company, following an acquisition of Leda Recruitment in 2010. As well as delivering the cloud based platform, Esteem will also provide help desk support, allowing McGinley HR to focus on their core business.
