Xtreme Consulting Group Acquires Oregon's Premier IT Staffing Firm Kipe Technology Resources

Acquisition Will Create One of the Largest Northwest-Based Consulting and Staffing Companies

International business and IT services firm, Xtreme Consulting Group, Inc., has reached a definitive agreement to acquire Kipe Technology Resources--a leading technology staffing firm based out of Beaverton, Oregon.

The purchase of Kipe Technology Resources further increases Xtreme's share in the IT consulting market. "The combination of Kipe with Xtreme will create one of the largest consulting and staffing firms based in the Northwest," said Greg Rankich, CEO and Co-Founder of Xtreme. "The acquisition greatly advances our strategy of expanding our customer base, adding depth to our talent pool, and strengthening our position in the marketplace."

Founded in 1991, Kipe is a leading provider of IT staffing in the Portland market. Carol Sampson has led Kipe Technology Resources as President for the past 10 years and is confident her company is growing in the right direction with Xtreme. "Xtreme has an impressive track record of consistent revenue growth. The company's numerous achievements and accolades are a direct result of its talented leadership team, dedicated employees, and their ability to set aggressive goals and execute accordingly. Xtreme will provide additional resources and exciting opportunities to our employees and is poised to take Kipe to the next level of success."

Xtreme Consulting Group will leverage Kipe's excellent reputation and top-quality employees to integrate the two companies together into the Portland market. Xtreme strongly supports Kipe's current business structure and intends to maintain the same culture under the Xtreme brand. "The integration of both companies will take place during the month of August. Our combined clients will continue to receive the same high-quality consulting and staffing services that they have come to expect," stated Greg.

"We believe the transaction will open the door to new opportunities for all employees. With the combined platform our company will achieve greater public visibility, increased financial firepower, and the ability to offer an even broader array of client-facing services," states Tony Richardson, CTO and Co-Founder of Xtreme who manages the company's Technical Consulting and Product Development divisions. "We are thrilled to bring our IT consulting capabilities to Kipe's existing client base and continue to expand throughout the northwest."

Kipe is known for delivering exceptional service and operating every facet of the business with the highest degree of integrity. In spite of the constant changes that occur in the IT industry, Carol Sampson ensured that the company would never lose sight of its core policies and values. This tradition will continue with the combined organization employing nearly 700 people worldwide.
