AIN’T NO MOUNTAIN HIGH ENOUGH FOR MACILDOWIE
Staff from recruitment specialists Macildowie have returned to the East Midlands triumphant after completing the Three-Peaks Challenge charity expedition.
Sixteen members of staff from the Nottingham and Leicester offices of Macildowie climbed the tallest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales within 28 hours, raising money for Cancer Research in the process.
The team have so far raised over £5,000 from the walk. Travelling between England, Scotland and Wales the team trekked over 26 miles and climbed 3,000 metres.
James Calder, director at Macildowie said: “I am so proud our team at Macildowie. The climbs were tough and gale force winds and driving rain on Snowden made the climb a lot harder than expected but the team worked together and dug deep to complete the challenge.
“Cancer Research is a charity that is very close to our hearts at Macildowie, as a team we have so far managed to raise a fantastic amount of money for such a great cause.”
