BCL Legal appoints first ever apprentice & welcomes back Moore

BCL Legal - one of the leading legal recruitment consultancies outside London - is pleased to announce that it has appointed its first ever apprentice. Nichole Luckhurst – 18 – has joined the consultancy support administration team from college and she will now be working towards an NVQ Level Two & Three. She was recruited via the Apprentice Academy which is an organisation that delivers an apprenticeship and training development programme for office and business apprentices in Manchester.

This week, the firm - which has offices in Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Liverpool, Reading and Bristol - has also welcomed back Victoria Moore who is returning to the BCL Legal fold after living and working in London for the past year. Victoria’s remit covers the in-house sector across the Midlands and will see her working with clients that she has supported in the past who include: Alliance Boots, National Grid and Molson Coors.

James Batt, managing director of BCL Legal, commented: “We know it’s tough for young people to get on the career ladder so working with the Apprentice Academy to find the right person to fill this role seemed like a great idea. We’re confident Nichole will be a solid asset to the team and it’s going to be exciting watching her skills set develop over the coming months.

James added: It’s also fantastic to welcome Victoria back. She’s a first class recruiter and I’m always pleased when people want to return to the firm as it show’s BCL Legal is a great place to work and we’re proud of that.”

On her new role, Nichole said: “This is my first full time role and the opportunity to be an apprentice at BCL Legal is something I’m grabbing with both hands. I’m on a steep learning curve but I’m relishing the challenge.”
