Bright Purple Scoops Private Business Award for High Growth

Bright Purple Resourcing, the UK-based IT and financial services recruitment specialist, is celebrating after winning the High Growth Business Award at the Scottish leg of the 2012 Private Business Awards, sponsored by PwC.

The firm, which has seen turnover increase in three years from &pound12.6m to over &pound40m, was recognised for its & lsquo;demonstrable growth in revenue and profitability through strong organic development.’ Bright Purple was also praised for its sales-led strategy within its marketplace and for its focus on a development strategy to build on its current success in future.

The Edinburgh-headquartered firm opened a new Eastern Europe office in Lithuania at the start of the year and recently recruited ex-Lehman Brothers Chief Administrative Officer for Technology Services Ken Gillingham to bolster its London operation.

Underlining the important contribution private businesses make to the Scottish and UK economy, the Private Business Awards celebrate the best firms and their successes in both the domestic and global marketplace.

Bright Purple will now be included as a finalist in the UK Awards which will be announced at a dinner to be held at The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, London on Thursday 6 September 2012.
