Morrisons Solicitors advise on the sale of Connections Recruitment Ltd

Morrisons Solicitors LLP, leading law firm in Surrey and the South East, have advised Connections Recruitment Ltd, a professional staffing services firm located in London and across Europe, with the sale of their business to Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann Company Legal advice was provided to Connections Recruitment by Peter Savage, partner and head of the recruitment sector at Morrisons Solicitors.

The acquisition fulfils a key strategic objective of Connections, namely to give clients access to more comprehensive workforce solutions. As part of Yoh, Connections clients now have an experienced, international staffing partner that can offer managed staffing programs, access to market-leading vendor management systems, temporary staffing, statement of work management and complete recruitment process outsourcing alternatives for permanent recruiting needs.

Alex Mauree, Managing Director for Connections, stated “As part of the Yoh family, we can immediately increase the value that we offer our clients. We have had opportunities to partner with larger international players in the past but it has been a deeply held value of Connections that we would consider acquisition only if it effectively improved the level of service to our clients.”

Peter Savage commented: “We were delighted to work with Connections to deliver this high quality deal in what remains a difficult economic environment for the recruitment sector and in what is traditionally a quiet time of the year. This highlights that when the economic climate remains uncertain, it is often better for companies to turn to specialists, such as ourselves, for advice with regards to their business sales or acquisitions.

Morrisons recruitment sector continues to strengthen year on year. Both this and the recent acquisition of E-Resourcing earlier in the year highlights the firm continuing strength in the recruitment sector.
