Blank Goes Large on TV Goes Large on TV has announced a major television campaign, launching on 30th September across all broadcast channels. The campaign will be supported by an extensive social and digital media campaign.

Created by Contagious for and produced by Weiland’s, the latest campaign, Spaceship, continues’s hugely successful Love Mondays campaign, which has run since 2008. Spaceship stars comedian and actor Rufus Jones (Hunderby) as Captain Reed, an intergalactic space traveller who has the power to change people’s lives by changing their careers. The commercial features cameo roles from staff at and will air in primetime spots on terrestrial and satellite television.

Spaceship is directed by Jonathan Brooks and Mat Laroche who were first discovered through the Short Film Competition (RSFC), and went on to win a public vote to create a TV commercial for the company earlier this year. Their winning commercial, Super Reed, featuring a job wielding superhero zapping lacklustre workers into new and exciting jobs, first aired on TV in January 2012 as part of the Love Mondays campaign, and was a phenomenal success. The ad, which was on air for less than three months, helped the company to an 80% rise in unprompted brand awareness, record site traffic and activity levels, and over half a million new CVs.

Inviting newcomers Brooks and Laroche to direct a second campaign was a natural step for, as part of their commitment to supporting new talent and providing opportunities for career development.

Mark Rhodes, Marketing Director, said: “We’re extremely proud to be working with Jonathan and Mat on a second commercial. “At, opportunity sits at the heart of everything we do, so we’re really happy to be able to give them another chance to show what talented filmmakers they are.

“Once again, we have a bold, high-energy piece of advertising, which we fully expect to deliver the same outstanding results as the last campaign and further establish’s position as the UK’s number one job site.”
