Striving in Recession
During these times of so called & lsquo;double dip’ recession, there is a company that is riding above the trend.
Connex Education is a recruitment agency that supplies Teachers and Teaching Assistants to schools across the Birmingham area and beyond, and they a proving a force to be reckoned with.
A successful tender application to Birmingham City Council under the Temporary Agency Worker Framework Agreements puts Connex education in a very strong position.
Shane Duggan, Branch Manager for Connex Education, Birmingham said, “This is brilliant news for Connex Birmingham. We truly live our values here, based on trust, service, innovation and people, but we also work hard on competitiveness within the price arena.”
The company, which has offices across the United Kingdom, was also awarded the Supply Teachers Quality Mark accredited by the Department for Education yet again following their annual audit.
“We are determined to offer the highest quality of teachers and support staff to our schools during these trying times” continued Shane, “Our quality process is second to none, and the continuation of our quality mark is testimony to this fact.”
The Managing Director of Connex Education, Mr Mark Beedles said the last academic year was the best ever for Connex, and that the company was in the process of recruiting more consultants, to meet the increasing demand they are facing.
“We know how difficult times are,” Mark said “Our schools need top notch service and we are delivering just that. We must adapt in trying times without affecting the quality of service.”
The successful tender application for Birmingham City Council places Connex near the top of the ratings in terms of price and quality, proving to schools that they are way ahead of most of their competition.
“We have invested wisely” continued Mark, “We have listened to what our schools and our candidates are telling us and adapted.”
Working closely with the NASBM, Connex will be undertaking primary research during this academic year to further understand the needs of School Business Managers across the United Kingdom.
Samantha McCoy, Marketing Manager for Connex said, “Our School Business Managers are facing challenging times the research undertaken will enable the NASBM to further understand their needs. This is vital, and Connex Education is happy to support the NASBM with this project.”
Shane added, “Many other recruitment agencies work within several sectors such as IT, education, construction etc. We don’t. We work exclusively within the education sector it is our passion which is why I believe we are so successful.”
One thing is for sure, the success of Connex Education is not based on luck. The company has been working tirelessly to improve services and drive down costs for their schools, in a bid to become the leading UK specialists within their field of education.
