Awards Triumph For Empiric
Awards Triumph For Empiric
After the tremendous success of winning & lsquo;Best Newcomer’ at the Asia Pacific Awards in September 2012 for the Singapore office, Empiric has won & lsquo;Best Company to Work for (up to 250 employees) at the Institute of Recruitment Professionals (IRP) Award in October 2012. That’s two awards in two months for this city based high-end specialist recruitment agency.
2012 has been a very successful year for Empiric, key achievements include, increasing head count to 70 permanent staff, global sales in excess of £20 million, establishing Oil & Gas division, Empiric Singapore winning & lsquo;Best Newcomer’ at The Global Recruiter Asia Pacific Awards and Empiric being recognised for & lsquo;Best Company to Work for (up to 250 employees)’ at the IRP Awards.
Sam Kamyar, the Founder and Managing Director said, “We are thrilled to have been credited as the Best Newcomer to Asia, particularly given the fierce competition. The aggressive growth teamed with sustained quality of service is paramount to Empiric. The accolade of Best Newcomer bestowed on Empiric Singapore gives further confidence in Empiric’s commitment to growing teams globally, investing further in experienced hires to accelerate growth while maintaining the reputation our London operation has as a leader in quality and customer experience”.
“Empiric has succeeded in developing staff morale and loyalty through offering a lucrative benefits package, and it was this that placed them as this year’s category winner. The driving force behind Empiric’s win was their dedication to helping staffs develop their own consultancies and take them to any region or country-going beyond the expected to enhance employees’ professional standing and skill set, as well as the company’s reach” were the judges’ comments at the IRP Award.
So what do the staffs have to say&hellip
“Empiric is a fantastic recruitment company who have taken the time to understand the market and the pain points for its customers” Simmane Bangura
“I joined Empiric as a graduate on the company's excellent “Fast Track Development programme” since then I have progressed into Specialist Consultancy focusing specifically in Asset Management and Buy-Side recruitment globally” Matt Cameron
“This is a great company to work for with fantastic training and mentorship programs. Everyone gets on well. Directors lead by example and teach by doing rather than dictating. It’s not surprising we have strong reputation in the market and our clients and candidates keep coming back to do business with us and recommend us to their professional and social networks” Vanessa Norton
Empiric strongly believes their employees are their most valuable asset hence why they invest heavily in their well-being and offer them opportunities that are unknown to most firms. Empiric’s philosophy of continuous learning and development encompassed with flat hierarchy creates a distinctive divide between Empiric and other organisations of this size that adopt the traditional approach to management. The directors don’t sit in separate offices but instead work alongside the consultants, sitting on the same desk and lead by doing, an approach that has evidently proven to be a success and given new meaning to & lsquo;open door policy’.
Empiric has a bright future ahead of its self, opening new offices in Europe, expanding specialisms, creating more diverse opportunities for its staff, supporting clients around the globe and winning more accolades for sure.
