Bright Purple recruits Rise Group MD to build permanent division

Bright Purple Resourcing, the UK-based IT and financial services recruitment specialist, has announced the recruitment of Georgette Stewart in a newly created role of Delivery Manager. She joins the business from the Murray Capital-owned Rise Group which she joined five years ago as Finance Director, moving on to the role of Operations Director before becoming its Managing Director.

A CIMA qualified accountant, Georgette spent the first 15 years of her working career in high profile finance roles with a number of companies including Scottish pharmaceutical business Quintiles, where she served as Finance Director before becoming Operations Director, and Adobe where she was European Company Accountant. In her new role at Bright Purple, Georgette will oversee the permanent division which the firm is focused on growing, both in the UK and across global markets.

In its last financial year, Bright Purple generated seven per cent growth in its revenues which rose to &pound39.3m and enhanced its global presence launching a new operation in Lithuania. With a significantly high proportion of its income generated from contract recruiting, the Bright Purple board, led by CEO Nick Price, is keen to focus on enhancing its permanent recruitment activity.

Speaking of her appointment, Georgette said: “This is a new and exciting role for me. Bright Purple has a great reputation, a very experienced management team and a strong brand positioning, all of which gives me a fantastic platform to work with. The great work that is being done for clients in managing their contract recruitment requirements gives us a solid platform to grow the permanent side of the business in the UK and across the globe.

Bright Purple CEO, Nick Price said: “Taking on someone with Georgette’s drive and extensive corporate experience is a hugely positive step forward for our business. She is an exceptional leader with superb organisational skills and undoubtedly someone who fits the profile of what we look for in Bright Purple people.

“Recruitment is increasingly becoming a globalised business, with more and more clients requiring international support to run their operations. We’ve successfully grown the contracting side of our business and, while we aim to continue growing this, I know we can also further develop the scale of permanent recruitment we manage for clients.

“We have great people and a strong brand which is becoming increasingly known and respected across the globe and, with Georgette taking on this new role, I believe we now have the ideal elements in place to grow our permanent team.”
