Jobshop UK Launch New Specialist Executive Division

Ready&hellipSteady&hellipTWEET! These were the words that launched Dorset’s newest executive recruitment company, Engage, to a packed room of well known local business people at the Norfolk Royale Hotel, all eager to hear about Jobshop UK’s exciting new venture.

After Directors, Tracey Wood and Frances Miles, had engaged their audience with a presentation to explain the shift in the recruitment industry and thought processes that led to their latest enterprise a specialist division to add to their highly successful recruitment company, Jobshop UK, guests were invited to get interactive and start & lsquo;tweeting’ about the launch by Engage’s newly appointed Executive Recruitment Director, Lucy York.

Having thoroughly researched the market, which included holding feedback forums with established and respected local companies, Tracey, Frances and Lucy developed a business plan whereby through Engage, they would offer a service tailored to the very specific needs of both clients and senior executives within the Dorset and Hampshire area.  The strong message from Engage, culminated in a promise that “the value we add will repay the time you invest.”

The Engage team were delighted to have Kevin Green, CEO of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation, join them for the launch.  Kevin gave an in-depth and thought provoking presentation about the UK recruitment market – both current, and looking forward to the future, which led to a number of interesting questions from guests.

Speaking after the launch, Frances Miles said “We are very excited by the positive comments from attendees today and the consensus is that Engage will fill the gap for a much needed quality Executive search and selection partner within the local area.”

Lucy Yorkadded, “I am looking forward to offering a personal, ethical and honest service and building long-term relationships to ensure Engage is the first choice of recruitment partner.”

Feedback from the guests proved to be exceptionally positive, with Sue Kerr from People Matter commenting “Great Brand, Great Concept, Desperately needed in Dorset.”  Chris Wilkinson, from HR Department, added “Fantastic day. Can’t believe that someone hasn’t thought of the name before says exactly what they intend to do. Great name: Engage.”

The hugely successful launch was supported by Paul Kinvig of Dale Carnegie Alex Simmons from Saffery Champness and Susannah Brade-Waring of Aspirin Business Solutions, who all expressed their well wishes for Engage’s future success.
