LA International Computer Consultants Ltd chosen to support UK G-Cloud programme

Following a competitive Tender exercise, LA International has been chosen by the Government Procurement Service, an executive agency of the Cabinet Office, to deliver key components of the G-Cloud programme through the G-Cloud II Framework Agreement.

The G-Cloud Framework will deliver fundamental changes in the way the public sector procures and operates ICT. The G-Cloud strategy is intended to:

Achieve large, cross government economies of scale

Deliver ICT systems that are flexible and responsive to demand in order to support government policies and strategies

Take advantage of new technologies in order to deliver faster business benefits and reduce cost

Meet environmental and sustainability targets

Allow government to procure in a way that encourages a dynamic and responsive supplier marketplace and supports emerging suppliers

The G-Cloud II Framework Agreement will allow LA International to supply a wide range of specialist cloud services across the whole of the UK public sector through & lsquo;Lot 4’ of the G-Cloud programme. This award is another in a long line of major Public Sector Framework wins that further positions LA International as a leader in the Contingent Labour market within Government.

Lot 4 of the G-Cloud II Framework Agreement allows Government Customers to procure a wide range of specialist cloud services and roles including Design Authority, Project/Programme Management, Business Analysis, Design and Development, Testing, Project Specification and Selection, Service Integration, Deployment, Transition Management (e.g. inter cloud service migration), Service Management, User Management, Training, Editorial, Application management and support, Strategy and implementation services, End user device support services, Application Lifecycle Services and Agile development, management and training.
