Luxury yacht-maker affirms its relationship with Mploy

Local recruitment company Mploy Staffing Solutions is celebrating after Sunseeker International extended its contract for the provision of temporary staff for a further two years.

After nine years of providing agency staff to the world-class luxury yacht builder, Mploy Staffing Solutions, which has branches in Poole, Christchurch and Dorchester, has once again been given Master Vendor status.

The deal, signed at the PSP Southampton Boat Show, will secure employment for up to 250 weekly agency workers from carpenters, plumbers, engineers, electricians and laminators at Sunseeker.

Andrew Macdonald, Director of Procurement at Sunseeker, said: “We have been consistently impressed with the service we receive from the Mploy team and their ability to continually exceed the levels set out within our Service Level Agreement.”

Under the agreement Mploy will provide workers for Sunseeker operations in Poole New Milton and Portland.

Evan Bebb, Director at Mploy, added: “We take a great deal of care to match the right workers with roles as well as carrying out pre interviews, we have an arrangement with Sunseeker and Bournemouth and Poole College which enables us to test the skills levels of all staff prior to starting. That approach has proven so successful that Sunseeker is currently taking on 50 of our hourly paid agency workers directly. We’re delighted Sunseeker have renewed our Master Vendor Agreement and look forward to building on this already very successful relationship.”

Mploy, which is based in Poole and has offices in Christchurch and Dorchester has a staff of 25 talented recruitment professionals. Mploy provides between 750 and 900 agency workers per week in full and part time positions to over 250 companies in Dorset, Hampshire and Somerset including agricultural, industrial, technical, commercial, driving and healthcare workers.
