The Co-operative Group has decided to adopt an operating model which utilises a managed service solution. ADR Network has been appointed in a national capacity to provide this service for LGV drivers.

ADR Network will provide The Co-operative Group with the benefits of single source supply, whilst retaining the advantages of multi-agency provision. This solution will help to simplify the supply chain and associated administration for agency driver matters. ADR Network's web-based timesheet system will enable The Co-operative Group to benefit from electronic timesheet processing.

The new two year contract came into operation as of 23rd September.

Commenting on the appointment Andrew Waldron, Managing Director of ADR Network, said: “We are delighted to extend our range of services to The Co-operative Group.

“Historically we have supported the Group at several locations and have been working in partnership with them to address seasonal fluctuations in driver supply and the wider challenges posed by a national driver shortage.

“We will now provide them with a single point of contact for agency driver resourcing and will be working in partnership with other agencies across the UK.”
