Alistair Cox of Hays To Join Branson and Obama as a LinkedIn Influencer

Alistair Cox, CEO of Hays, has been invited to contribute to LinkedIn’s new Influencer programme. This programme gives LinkedIn’s 187 million professionals worldwide access to the news and views of 150 highly influential global business leaders and industry personalities, including Sir Richard Branson, LinkedIn’s CEO Jeff Weiner, President Barack Obama and David Edelman of McKinsey.

As a member of LinkedIn’s new Influencer programme Alistair will regularly contribute thought leadership insights and articles that demonstrate Hays’ expertise across a wide range of issues impacting the world of work. The articles will aim to stimulate debate, and help extend Hays’ engagement across the LinkedIn community.

Alistair’s first article is entitled “1 billion more people want your job!” It references Hays’ report, Creating Jobs in a Global Economy, that assessed the impact of the changing demographics of the global workforce over the next two decades. The report challenges governments, policy-makers and businesses to seriously consider how the major economies should handle this opportunity to unleash growth and economic potential, and so avoid a major demographic disaster.

Alistair Cox, CEO of Hays, commented: “It's a real privilege to be considered one of the 150 business leaders who are shaping the professional agenda. LinkedIn’s Influencer programme will allow us to share our views and insight with people worldwide, and I look forward to engaging with people on topics that matter to them.”
