Aspire People inspire pupils to look to the future

A Coventry supply teaching agency attended a school's careers event to give advice to pupils.

Aspire People, an education recruitment agency that works with primary and secondary schools across Warwickshire, gave up its time to help pupils through the route of what career path to take.

Pupils from Avon Valley School Performing Arts College attended the event on 23rd October. The convention was aimed at helping year 11 students find out what sort of career paths they could take.

Aspire People were invited to the convention to give students a clear idea on how they would get into teaching or become an education recruitment consultant.

Alan Hull, one of Aspire People's education recruitment consultants and an ex-teacher, represented the company on the day. He said, "It was a truly enjoyable experience. The feedback that the pupils gave me was extremely positive and they now have a firm idea of what they would like to do post 16."

The Avon Valley School Performing Arts College were very pleased at how successful the convention was and very happy with the contribution that Aspire People gave. Elaine Stock, assistant head teacher at Avon Valley School said, "All the students I have spoken to have stated how much they got out of the morning and many of them now have a firm idea of what they would like to do after school."
