TJC wins its 12th award in 2012, the future is bright for the international recruitment partner

Established Senior Appointments specialists and recruitment consultancy Timothy James Consulting celebrates a string of successes in 2012. Going from strength to strength on a domestic platform, the British business now places candidates as far and wide as Africa, US, Asia and Australia thus taking the business into the global arena with the support of Hamilton Bradshaw. Having been awarded 2nd Fastest Growing Recruitment Business in the UK, 12th Best Company to Work For by The Sunday Times, 7th Greatest Place to Work in the UK, 2nd position as Recruiter 2012 Fast 50 and on Recruiter 2012 Hot 100, senior candidates and quality clients are choosing TJC as their recruitment partner, entrusting the multi-award winning company with their careers and key appointments.

All business is based on finding the right people to deliver their service, brand or product. TJC’s recruiters are market-focused, specialising in specific sectors to enable them to be authorities in their clients’ fields which include Executive PPM ICT Finance HR & Procurement Sales & Marketing for Retail & eCommerce Media, Publishing & Broadcasting Financial Services the Public Sector Energy, Telecommunications and other Utilities.

TJC initially focused on Bristol and the M4 corridor, followed shortly by London and Manchester, which served to cement its strong foothold in the market.   TJC partnered with Hamilton Bradshaw in 2011: while the headquarters remain in Bristol, the growth in headcount and potential encouraged office expansion across the UK.  In May 2010 the London office opened for business, but, since outgrowing its premises three times, it is now located in the prestigious Mayfair area. Furthermore, a third location in Manchester’s central business district was established in October 2011. The latter has trebled its headcount in its first year! Another goal achieved in 2012.

TJC has worked tirelessly throughout the recession to achieve year on year growth, generating &pound22 million this year alone, while revenue is projected to reach &pound28 million by December 2013.  As TJC develops at home and abroad, playing its part in tackling the worldwide unemployment issue, the company will expand its workforce by 30%, aiming to recruit dynamic and driven individuals with an interest in our core business sectors.

CEO and Founder Chris O’Connell said “I am really very proud of the achievements that TJC has accomplished as a team since 2003. As our professional communities develop and high quality candidates and clients look for opportunities overseas, the decision to go global was entirely organic. Sharing mutual goals with our clients and candidates, we aim to translate TJC’s successes into international markets.”
