Investment in mobile brings record users to totaljobs.com in October

Almost one quarter of site visits are now from mobile devices

Investment in its mobile strategy has helped totaljobs.com achieve a record 5.3 million site users during last month. Over 2.3 million visits to totaljobs.com in October were from mobile devices.

This record breaking month has been driven by strong investment in product developments, leading to mobile consumption now accounting for one in four visits (23%) to totaljobs.com. The growth is further supported by the brand’s recruiter strategy – which has recently seen it re-launch its e-commerce self service platform – allowing a greater number of touch points for recruiters to engage with totaljobs.com.

John Salt, Director, totaljobs.com, says, “We have developed a series of technological advancements to ensure we are ahead of the curve and importantly, add considerable value to both recruiters and jobseekers. This value was identified and created by increasing accessibility amongst jobseekers but also investment to help recruiters best understand the needs of an ever changing recruitment market. In this competitive industry, it was essential that we answered this market need and our overall traffic and the rise in mobile visits further reiterates that our strategy is correct.”

The innovations have been designed to support recruiters in a rapidly changing recruitment market. With the number of jobs available growing 5% year on year and indications of green shoots, jobseekers are starting to look to move jobs and by enhancing user experience through technology, totaljobs.com is widening access to ultimately help recruiters find the best candidate for their job needs.
