 Merit Software achieves Recognition from HMRC

As part of the changes to the UK payroll system for Real time Information (RTI) Merit Software have been taking part in the pilot for RTI and have now achieved full recognition for their software from HMRC.

Recognition is awarded to software providers whose software passes a number of test scenarios set by HMRC to check the software complies with their requirements for communicating directly with their online services.

“Real Time information is a big change to the way companies will carry out payroll” said Sam Radion of Merit Software and added “It means that every time you pay your employees you’ll need to send a submission to HMRC and having a software solution that is recognised by HMRC means that you’ll be ready for this change.”

“Over the last few years we’ve seen In-year submissions, AWR, Swedish Derogation, RTI and we’re shortly releasing our auto-enrolment module for pensions. Keeping our software at the leading edge has been a constant effort but has let us expand our customer base and increase our size greatly.” Added Sam
