Recruitment software company makes first major inroads into Benelux region

Bullhorn announces two contract wins with UK-based technical recruiting specialist Cititec and Dutch recruiter IT-Staffing, today. The new Dutch contract is the recruitment software specialist’s first major move in the Benelux region.

All IT-Staffing recruiters are migrating to Bullhorn in early 2013 while Cititec is currently implementing the SaaS CRM/ATS solution throughout its offices in the UK, Holland and Singapore.

Cititec needed a true web-based platform that was easily scalable and could readily accommodate the agency’s expansion. Cititec’s chief operating officer Rob Grant explains: “When expanding into new territories you want to focus on building your business and winning new clients, not IT. The truth of the matter is with Bullhorn you only need an internet connection and then you’re ready to go.

“Bullhorn’s recruitment software has become the industry standard which makes staff onboarding very efficient. A lot of the recruiters that work for us have already used Bullhorn in the past so it doesn’t take long to get them up to speed. It also strengthens our remote working offering as our recruiters can now easily operate from home or from a client’s premises on an iPad for example.”

IT-Staffing is the first large native Dutch company to partner with Bullhorn. Peter Linas, Bullhorn’s international MD explains: “We’ve been building our network in Benelux for a while as we’re keen to expand in the region. There are cultural differences that need to be accounted for and we understand that European recruiters work in different ways. We spent a lot of time with IT-Staffing learning what their team needed and are now planning to open an office in Amsterdam in the next few months.”

Wessel van Alphen, IT-Staffing CEO says: “All of our recruiters are moving to Bullhorn’s true-cloud CRM/ATS solution from our old Lotus Notes setup. We’ve also invested in the Team edition of the market leading social recruiting platform, Bullhorn Reach. The use of social media in recruitment has exploded in Holland and the Reach solution will allow us to manage all our recruiter’s efforts, ensuring social recruiting best practice across the organisation.”

Linas concludes: “We are delighted to be working with both Cititec and IT-Staffing. We established ourselves as a market leader in the UK in a very short span of time and will look to replicate that success as we expand into mainland Europe.”

The Cititec and IT-Staffing news follows Bullhorn’s November acquisition of US recruitment software company Sendouts and Canadian recruitment software specialist MaxHire Solutions. Bullhorn CEO Art Papas announced that the product innovation and excellent service delivered by both companies will, “...dramatically increase our ability to execute on our vision of helping recruiters be more successful, develop new products, and serve our exponentially expanding user base”.
