Eden Brown predicts bright year ahead

UK recruitment consultancy Eden Brown is pleased to announce it is expecting year-on-year revenue growth across the business, with turnover expected to grow 5% to an expected &pound67.3m to 31 March 2013.

Net profit is forecast to increase over 73.7%, with permanent revenue across private and public sector markets continuing to rise 31%, despite the difficult economic conditions, with temp billings increasing significantly as well.

The company predicts permanent positions will continue to increase in the first two quarters of 2013 as markets continue to strengthen and growing business confidence motivates companies to employ staff for the long term.

“We are optimistic about what the following year will hold. In 2013 we expect to see growth in several areas, particularly a rise in pay rates, especially across the public sector and technical markets.

“Eden Brown will be looking at taking advantage of the prospects the next year will bring, including sourcing more high value/high margin opportunities throughout the year.”

In more good news for the industry, findings from the Recruitment and Employment Confederation’s latest JobsOutlook supports a growing UK job market next year, revealing that 99% of employers said they plan to either increase or maintain their permanent staff, with 88% of employers planning to increase or maintain their temporary staff headcount in 2013.

These results back up findings from Eden Brown’s latest client survey earlier in the year which revealed clear signs of increasing business confidence in the economy, with over 45% of participants saying they going to employ more staff in the next 12 months.
