GCS Awarded 3 Star Accreditation

GCS is delighted to announce they have been awarded the prestigious 3-Star accreditation by the Best Companies organisation for a fourth consecutive year. The star standard is defined from employee responses to questions within the Best Companies survey and a 3-Star rating, the highest achievable status, denotes businesses deemed to be “extraordinary”.

“Our involvement with Best Companies has been incredibly valuable” said company founder Chris Bartlett. “Their report gives us an honest, objective view of how our employees feel about their work environment, as well as highlighting any areas for improvement. Action in response to these findings has been integrated into our yearly Vision plans and, as evidenced by this fourth 3-Star accreditation, it is an approach that works well for us.”

With this accreditation starting GCS’ 2013 on a high note, the company aims to continue building on the successes of 2012, which saw the company announce a record turnover of &pound31.5m, as well as being named Best Medium Business for the second year running at the Global Recruiter Awards. The company was also named Best Student Employer (London & South East) by NASES, and Chris Bartlett was honoured as 2012’s Director of the Year by the London & South East Institute of Directors.

“One of our primary focuses in 2013 is to continue increasing employee engagement” commented GCS HR Manager Amanda Cleary. “Through a combination of excellent incentives, ongoing opportunities for training and career progression, involvement in a conscientious CSR programme and an outstanding professional support system, I believe we have created a superb work environment for junior and senior recruiters alike.”
