Lipton Fleming And Source Announce Merger

Two leading recruitment brands merge to create a unique recruitment proposition within the media and creative communications industries: Lipton Fleming and Source.

The shareholder directors of Lipton Fleming, one of the best-known recruiters in the media industry, and Source, a leading recruiter in the creative communications industry and recently voted No 38 on the Hot 100  League Table, are delighted to announce that their companies are merging with immediate effect.

As naturally complementary brands, with a shared vision and values, they individually service a significant share of the markets already. Both companies believe that this is a very positive step towards breaking down the divide that currently exists between media recruitment and creative agency recruitment.

Each of the two businesses has always had an individual vision to offer a comprehensive recruitment solution to the communications industry as a whole. The merger and subsequent combined offering will provide job-seekers with a more complete perspective of the career opportunities within the media and creative communications market. For companies who are recruiting, there will be the ability to achieve the cross-fertilistation of talent that in the past might not have been possible.

In a joint statement, the shareholders and directors of Lipton Fleming and Source say:

'This merger gives all of us the perfect vehicle to achieve our goals. Until today, there has been no single recruitment company that can provide a full spectrum service across the entire media and creative communications market. It is our intention to grow each area of the business as rapidly and as successfully as possible, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of service quality which have been so fundamental to our individual successes to date'.

The combined businesses will have a staff of 35 and will continue to provide a specialist service across the following areas: strategic communications, account planning, client services, creative, design, studio, project management, technical and IA, research and insight, media sales, media planning and buying and digital performance.
