Experis appoints new Director due to regulation burden on clients

Experis, the global leader in professional resourcing and project solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Geoff Walsh as its Regulatory Compliance Director, with immediate effect.

With the increasing regulatory burden placed on companies in the Finance sector, Experis, part of ManpowerGroup, is focused on providing clients with an unrivalled offering in both consulting and recruitment. The appointment of Mr. Walsh to head the Regulatory Compliance team will help build on Experis’ existing regulatory services, broadening the scope of the service it provides and the deep expertise within Experis Consulting.

Mr. Walsh joins from the Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME), where he was a Managing Director, and has over 20 years’ experience in the banking and capital markets industry including numerous management positions in compliance and operational roles.  At AFME, he represented investment banks and helped them analyse the impact of proposed legislation across multiple countries including the EU and US. Mr. Walsh has also held senior positions at the Serious Fraud Office and the Securities and Futures Authority.
