gap personnel, one of the UK’s Top 10 industrial recruitment providers, has announced their highest ever turnover figures -  their 15th consecutive year of growth -  justifying the on-going investments being made within the organisation. Group turnover in 2012 was &pound72m, a 19% increase on 2011, with a growth margin figure of 10%, and the business is on track to continue this trend, anticipating a further 18% overall growth in 2013, to &pound85m.

gap personnel was founded in 1997 by CEO, Gary Dewhurst, who had a very clear vision from the onset of what he wanted to achieve – to deliver an outstanding recruitment service. With a commitment to innovation, best practice, long term client retention and investment in staff, gap personnel has become one of the country’s most successful privately-owned recruitment agencies, employing 184 staff and, currently, payrolling 7000 temporary staff, per week.

The Group, who have their HQ in Wrexham, North Wales, offer a nationwide coverage, across seven regions, through high street branches, specialist divisions and an on-site network. In 2012, the company serviced nearly 1200 clients, ranging from SME and start-up businesses to multi-national organisations, across a broad spectrum of sectors

In a tough marketplace and in challenging trading conditions, many of the branches and regions have shown some staggering growth % figures in 2012, including Gloucester (301%), Wolverhampton (243%) and South West region (164%).

The Group were also formally recognised, as one of only a handful of UK companies awarded GOLD status by Investors in People (IIP) and secured “Best UK Companies to Work For” (Sunday Times) accreditation for the sixth consecutive year.
