As you may already be aware this year sees the launch of APSCo’s Professional Development division, headed up by Fiona Lander.

Below are the training courses we have scheduled for Quarter 1 and 2, more dates to be added soon. Watch the website, the App-sco app on you smart phone and the Weekly Bulletin for updates.

Professional Leadership Development Programme – Chartered Management Institute Certificate (CMI) – A recruitment specific series of one day courses leading to a CMI qualification especially designed for billing managers and team leaders.

Recruiter Core Competencies Programme (RCC) – This programme of courses is designed for new talent joining recruitment and for people with up to c24 months experience. It will provide and/or support your existing on-boarding induction.

21st March– Dynamic Team Leadership (London)

This course gives leaders and managers the confidence and ability to manage change, both enforced and desired, turn it into an opportunity for growth whilst building resilience - and continue to engage their teams in the process.

26th March – Focus on Performance (London)

Managing performance to create champions – delegates will learn to manage and enhance individual performance, how to effectively recognise, and positively manage, underperformance. Improve your on-boarding process, shortening the time it takes people to start billing, not forgetting to give equal focus on your good people taking them from 'good to great'.

This specialist training day will give your contracts/freelance/temps or dual desk recruiters ways to build your contracts business and increase their weekly/monthly revenue contribution whilst keeping the service to your contractors at the very heart of your delivery.

With techniques to address the issues faced in today's market, this comprehensive recruitment introduction course gives delegates a thorough grasp of both commercial and practical recruitment, sales skills and knowledge that are critical to making a consultant highly successful.

16th May – Nurturing Talent (London)

Billing managers and team leaders need to raise the skill and confidence levels of the individuals in their teams quickly and effectively. This course covers methods and best practice for building on the skills of the team and developing their ability to perform concentrating on coaching, mentoring and delegation.
