Bluecross Locums have been a leading recruitment supplier to the medical industry for over 10 years. During this time, they have been able to continually deliver on their philosophy that is: to work with pride and integrity on delivering a personal service in an open, honest and transparent way, without compromising our standards.

2012 provided Bluecross Locums with the ideal timing to re-launch their brand and website to ensure that their off-line philosophy is being reflected on-line, which lead to the partnership with HotLizard being formed. The aim was to achieve a candidate centric website that delivered a first class user experience, whilst still providing a good return on investment through maximising a high level of functionality.

Through working together in an honest and transparent way, Bluecross Locums were able to describe their vision to the HotLizard team, who took those concepts and utilised the flexibility built into the Gecko platform to deliver a website that achieved all requirements.

Some of the key features for the re-launched website include, candidates now being able to register via social media accounts from LinkedIn and Facebook, the ability for candidates to apply direct to vacancies using their LinkedIn accounts on both the main site and via the mobile website. 

Bluecross Locums have also been able to take advantage of the modern easy to use content management system that enables them to manage testimonials, case studies and blog widgets to ensure that they are displaying relevant content to visitors. This functionality is imperative given the many different ways Bluecross Locums now have to engage with potential candidates and clients. Knowing that their underlying site architecture is built in such a way search engines are able to index the content quickly was another essential requirement.
