Heat Recruitment celebrate growth with office move

Bristol based Heat Recruitment has moved to newly fitted out office space in historic Royal Talbot House in the city centre.

The move follows a period of considerable growth by the company which employs a team of 25 consultants and support staff at its Bristol headquarters.

Heat Recruitment was launched in 2006 by Managing Director Steve Preston and specialises in recruitment for the insurance, accountancy, legal and financial services sectors.  Last year the company also launched Heat Computing , its dedicated IT recruitment division.

The company also has a London office and has plans for further expansion into other UK cities.

As well as meeting the company’s need for more space to accommodate its growing team the move to Royal Talbot House has also seen a formerly derelict space brought back to life.

MD Steve Preston spotted the potential of the ground floor space, which was being used as a storage facility by its owner, as he walked past last year and then contacted the owners to see if it was available for lease.

The owner agreed to Steve’s request to lease the space and the pair worked together to come up with a design and layout suitable for a growing business.

The space has now been transformed into a bright, modern and spacious office whilst making the most of the building’s many period features.

Steve Preston, Managing Director says: “Royal Talbot House is an amazing building in a great location and we are thrilled to have played a part in helping to bring part of it back to life.  It’s a great space to work, and a welcoming environment for our clients and candidates.  Most importantly it offers us the flexibility to grow as the company continues to expand.”
