Most managers in Russia received a bonus for 2012 Says Antal Russia

More than half (58%) of middle and senior managers received a bonus for 2012, according to a survey conducted among 4000 respondents by Antal Russia Recruitment Company.

16% of respondents reported that their bonus wasn’t included in their compensation package, compared to last year’s figure of 18%. Almost a quarter of managers (26%) didn’t receive a bonus because they didn’t reach their targets.

A third of respondents (33%) received a bonus of 10 to 20% of their annual fixed salary. 19% of managers received  a bonus of  20 to 30% of their annual compensation, and 6% of managers doubled their annual income thanks to bonus payments.

46% of managers said that the size of their bonus remained stable compared to the previous year, 40% said that it had increased, and only 14% of respondents reported that their bonus was less than a year ago.

“The results of the survey once again confirm that 2012 was quite positive for most companies, who could achieve their performance objectives. But we don’t expect that this trend will continue in 2013. The Russian market is gradually transforming from emerging market into developed, the competition is increasing, and it’s becoming more difficult for the companies to maintain  this growth”, says Michael Germershausen, Managing Director, Antal Russia.
