Orange Genie Group Recognised for Excellence

The Award winning Orange Genie Group, providers of a total workforce solution for temporary contractors, has added another prize to their collection with the prestigious Investors in People Gold award, having been recognised for demonstrating a high degree of excellence in the way they develop and support their staff.

The Gold award is achieved by just 3.2% of organisations in the UK, and goes beyond the nationally recognised Standard, which is awarded to well-run organisations which demonstrate good management practice with a high emphasis on best practice people management and development.

Graham Fisher Managing Director at Orange Genie Group, said: “We are delighted to receive Investors in People Gold accreditation. At Orange Genie Group, we recognise the value of our people and strive to provide them with the right support, environment and culture to allow them to grow and flourish. We operate in a tough market where our only real competitive advantage is delivered by our people. The Investors in People framework has enabled us to benefit from a stable, knowledgeable, ambitious and highly motivated team of people who love sharing in the success of the company. Achieving the Gold standard is not only recognition of the actual processes we have in place but is also a central focus of our persistent and never ending journey of improvement.”

The Investors in People Gold Award recognises achievement in business practice and marks organisations as being at the forefront of people management. To secure the Gold award, an organisation must meet a total of 165 or more different standards, including 39 core accreditation standards.

John Telfer, Managing Director of Inspiring Business Performance Ltd (IBP), the Investors in People Centre for London and the South of England, said: “Achieving a Gold award is a fantastic achievement and sets your organisation apart as one of the best Investors in People in the country. Companies looking to improve business practice should be encouraged by Orange Genie Group’s admirable success and take steps to start their own Investors in People journey.”

Research shows that organisations of any type and size that adopt a comprehensive approach to people development perform better than those without, indicated by higher gross profits per employee, higher profit margins and higher productivity. Companies that have achieved the Investors in People Standard also have higher levels of trust, co-operation and commitment than their competitors.
